Here we are at an athletic
track and field event. We usually headed off for the day and the lads ran
in all the races they could. The boys loved the idea of being fit and they
enjoyed the times so much. Although Gary's success at athletics was
minimal he did not give up trying and he has taught us a valuable lesson
in life " to keep on trying and to always accept any defeat
graciously."
